Taffy is a sweet and gentle 15mo old yellow Lab, who is extremely friendly with people, particularly kids, and other dogs. He is energetic and playful and loves to run around in the backyard playing with a tennis ball or playing fetch with a stick. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate or when left alone at home. Taffy is also housetrained and stands by the door to indicate he needs to be let out.

Taffy has always been around new people and dogs and has been friendly to both when meeting for the first time. He has had regular trips to the dog park and plays well with other dogs, has been left overnight with sitters and has fared well. Taffy is in good health and is up to date on all shots and has been on a regular regimen of tick and flea prevention and heartworm medication. He is very well cared for, has been on a grain free diet and with regular monthly grooming.

Taffy has been trained to follow basic commands like “Sit”, “Down” and “Stay”, he still needs a little work on leash walking. If not physically and mentally engaged, he can get bored and chew on things. When around kids, adult supervision is suggested, as he sometimes jumps to show his affection.
