Nala came to us literally starving to death, she weighed 22 pounds. This sweet girl was surrendered to the shelter because their owner could no longer afford to feed them. It was obvious they were telling the truth.
While Nala is not a fine example of a Labrador, in keeping with our guiding principles, we could not leave her suffering. She is an awesome dogs who just want to be loved and have a family.
Nala is very petite - a perfect pocket sized Lab. She knows basic commands, is a ball fanatic, loves to swim, and will sit, fetch and retrieve to your hand. She is crate trained and does well in the house, and loves her cushy pet bed.
