Jed needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Jed is handsome and sweet
Jed is a young, male weimaraner with a beautiful coat and a stellar personality. He only weighs 62lbs right now and would look healthy between 70-75lbs. When Jed made it to his foster home, it took him a few days to settle in, learn how to live with a family again, and start to feel like a normal dog!! He is fully potty-trained, crate trained, and learning basic manners during his time here. Jed has really opened up and "let loose" in the backyard - He loves to run! He already sits at every door before he goes through it and sits for his food, as well. Jed is a fast runner, a quick learner, and a total love bug. Jed has 2 male doggie pals he shares the home with and he gets along with them so well! He does well on walks with minimal pulling, although it seems like he's never had anyone walk him before. He loves being chased around the yard or fetching the tennis ball. Jed hasn't shown any signs of destruction since he arrived at his foster home. Shoes and socks left out on the floors don't interest him and the blanket in his crate doesn't have one bite mark in it. Jed, like any young weimaraner, requires daily exercise. Behaviors may be different if a dog is not receiving enough physical and mental stimulation each day. Jed would benefit from an active home, with a yard or close access to a dog park or hike and bike trail, and an adopter who enjoys exercising with him!
